Darren Crombie, Deputy Director-General, Infrastructure, Policy and Planning Darren Crombie has 20 years’ experience in the infrastructure, planning, aviation, and innovation sectors overseeing a range of strategic planning, policy and program initiatives for both the State and Federal Government. Darren was previously the Deputy Director-General and Strategic Advisor for the Department of Science, Information Technology and Innovation. He has previously held senior executive roles in the infrastructure and economic development portfolios in the Queensland Government, and in the transport and infrastructure portfolio in the Australian Government. Darren is currently the Queensland Director on the National Board and Vice President, Policy and Advocacy of the Planning Institute of Australia and has previously represented Australia on UN and APEC bodies.
