Tactical urbanism: 3 ideas for user testing street design
Abstract
This action-oriented presentation gives you three key ideas for collaborating with communities to quickly and simply user-test ideas and street designs before investing, and looks at the important role of streets and public spaces in communities.
Tactical urbanism is a proven approach that helps governments, agencies and developers around the world to test ideas for streets and public spaces on the ground. Our award winning techniques uses temporary prototypes to collaborate and engage communities; gather data for evidence-based decisions; break through deadlocks; and find value in underused spaces.
Learn for yourself why other industries adopted user-testing decades ago, and how this can help in any industry that works with cities and people.
With experience across 50 tactical urbanism projects in Australia, CoDesign Studio has pioneered a simple four-step methodology to get results within 90 days.
