Logan City Council is currently constructing a facility called "Logan Metro Sports Park", which is opposite the conference venue. The technical tour will commence at 10.30am at the conference registration counter within the conference facility and delegates will walk across to the new facility. Council is constructing carparks, sports fields, club house and drainage work for the new facility, the facility will be the new home for the Brisbane Roar. Some of the challenges of this site include constructing the sports fields on an existing landfill and rock gabions construction.
