We were delighted to welcome 195 to delegates to Stanthorpe – our highest Branch Conference to date! Our SWQ Branch Conference, hosted in partnership with Southern Downs Regional Council, highlighted topics and case studies from the region. We were delighted to welcome Seren McKenzie, Director Infrastructure Services at Southern Downs Regional Council and former IPWEAQ President, as our keynote speaker presenting on What to do when the dam runs dry – supplying over 5,000 people with water’.
Thank you to Overall Conference Sponsor, Proterra Group, for their ongoing support. Our other generous conference sponsors include GenEng Solutions, A&M Civil Contracting, GHD, Shepherd and Brandon and Associates – without our Sponsors, this conference would not be possible!
Our Branch Conference Dinner was extremely enjoyable, thanks to our dinner sponsor GenEng Solutions. Delegates were treated to a decadent buffet and local wines by staff and students at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism. We were also delighted to partake in a live auction during the evening, with five gifts generously donated by A&M Civil Contracting.
Thank you to our exhibitors for their support in making the conference so successful! Furthermore, to the many exhibitors who donated gifts for our charity raffle. We were thrilled to raise $3,995 for Rural Aid between our two fundraising initiatives!
