Angela is a Chartered and RPEQ structural engineer with over 27 years of experience delivering projects across Australia—from medium-rise buildings to complex civil infrastructure. She currently serves as the Coordinator of Structural Engineering Design at the City of Gold Coast Council. For the past 15 years, Angela has specialised in civil infrastructure, leading structural designs ranging from major solar farms nationwide to signature projects throughout the Gold Coast.

A dedicated advocate for equity in engineering, Angela is deeply committed to mentoring and supporting young engineers in the structural field. She believes International Women in Engineering Day is more than a celebration—it’s a powerful platform to uplift voices, share stories, inspire the next generation, empower women to thrive in their careers post-motherhood, and champion a more diverse and supportive engineering industry.
