Despite a challenging year, the IPWEAQ 2020 conference did not disappoint! With a great range of technical tours to choose from (the Humes pre-cast facility tour was a highlight), diverse informative technical sessions and the opportunity to network with suppliers and other public work staff resulted in a well-rounded learning experience. Looking forward to what's on the agenda next year!

Firstly I am impressed and felt fortunate to attend a conference during the COVID situation, the IPWEAQ team have done a great job in pulling everything together. As always the sessions and the conference papers are informative, and the presenters are knowledgeable and well presented. Personally I made sure I visited every supplier display to find out what they have to offer, for networking and to appreciate their support. Kudos to the team, sponsors, delegates, catering staff, venue managers and the suppliers.

Was well worth the attendance, not just for the face to face interaction and networking, but also for the many great tips and take-aways I picked up from the variety of different papers and sessions. The ability to make session notes within the conference app that could be exported made it very easy to transfer them across when recording my CPD.
