People Are The Project: Mastering Human Skills to Connect, Communicate, and Navigate Complexity

The hard truth about ‘soft skills’ is that they are anything but; often the most difficult aspect of our work is navigating other people. These so-called “soft” skills underpin trust, collaboration, and effective decision-making in complex settings. They require conscious effort and can make or break relationships, and the truth is, most of us learn them the hard way — through awkward moments, misunderstandings, and late-night overthinking.

This 90-minute, highly interactive session reframes people skills as a practical toolkit to help you show up as your best self, resolve conflicts, and build trusting relationships with clarity and compassion.

What you’ll gain

  • Understand your presence and how your personal energy shapes interactions
  • Recognize how your “vibe” influences relationships and outcomes
  • Practice empathetic listening and authentic communication
  • Learn a practical, fail-safe approach to navigating conflicts and restoring alignment

Resilience: Your Personal Superpower

Resilience is not what happens to you. It’s how you react to, respond to, and recover from what happens to you.’  Jeffrey Gitomer

Resilience is the unwavering ability to adapt, bounce back and thrive in the face of adversity and challenges.

Have you ever wondered what sets apart those who crumble under pressure from those who rise to challenges with grace and grit? There is no mystery, and we all have the capacity for this superpower.  Because resilience is about thoughts, behaviours and actions it is learnable and can be developed.

Resilience is an essential life skill that allows each of us to navigate challenges, bounce back from setbacks, manage stress, and maintain wellbeing amid our fast-paced and sometimes chaotic world or work and life. Research shows resilience training can reduce mental health issues such as stress and anxiety by up to 40%. It also enhances teamwork and adaptability to change.

In this interactive 90 minute session you will understand resilience, its importance in professional (and life) settings, harness the power of reframing, and learn some practical strategies to enhance your resilience superpowers
